CANDLE CARE

First Burn

Wax has memory. On your first burn, try to make sure the melt pool extends all the way to the edge. This will help reduce future tunneling.

Burn your candle between one and four hours at a time for best results. Discontinue use if a candle repeatedly smokes or flickers, or if the flame is too high (over 3 inches).

Maintenance

Trim your wick to 1/4" before lighting every time. Make sure the wax is free of any wick trimmings, matches, or other debris.

Avoid burning your candle near drafts. like ceiling fans, high traffic areas, and vents. This can cause excessive flame movement, which is a safety issue and can cause uneven burning and increased soot production.

All good things come to an end

Once only 1/4" wax is left in your candle, you should stop burning. You can pop the candle in the freezer and then use a blunt item to chip out the wax and repurpose the vessel.
